The St. Genevieve Ladies Altar Society members meet after the 8 A.M. Mass on the second Sunday of each month except during the summer.

The most important function of the Altar Society is to reverently care for the Altar, the Altar linens and the Holy Water fonts on a weekly basis.  Teams are assigned to dust, polish and clean the Altar, the furniture, glass, Holy Water fonts and linens. Members also recite the Rosary, as a group, at the funerals of deceased members and their immediate family members.  The members also maintain a prayer line for themselves, family members and parishioners of St. Genevieve Parish.
