FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Preparing to Receive Jesus in the Eucharist
First Holy Communion is an important moment in the faith life of a child and family. At St. Genevieve, children prepare to receive the Eucharist alongside their preparation for First Reconciliation.
Preparation is offered to registered parish families with children in second grade who have been baptized in the Catholic faith. Registration is required for children preparing to receive First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
In accordance with Diocesan policy, children attending Catholic schools receive these Sacraments through the
church parish in which their family is registered, rather than through their school or class.

Our Mission
St. Genevieve Catholic Church is a Eucharist-centered parish committed to living and sharing the Catholic faith through worship, the Sacraments, prayer, faith formation, Catholic education, fellowship, and service.
