Sacrament and Education

Whether you know it as "faith formation," "religious education," or "CCD" .....we at St. Genevieve parish take seriously Christ's call to share our Catholic faith with one another and especially with the next generation. While nothing can replace the role of parents, grandparents, and other family members as "primary teachers of the faith," St. Genevieve offers formal religious education classes for early childhood through high school as well as youth ministry activities and sacramental preparation programs for our young people. Several intergenerational events throughout the year make it possible for parents and children of all ages to celebrate and learn more about their faith in a fun and creative way.

Because growing in faith is a lifelong process, we also have plenty of opportunities for adult faith enrichment, ranging from Bible studies to formation for different kinds of ministry, and prayer groups to retreats. Adults wishing to complete their sacramental preparation are also welcome, whether through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) or Adult Confirmation
